Preparing for your engineer’s visit
Ensure the working area is clear of obstructions. If access to the boiler is restricted by a cupboard, the cupboard may need to be removed before the engineer arrives.
Have any previous service or installation documentation available.
Make sure the gas meter is accessible.
If you use a pre-payment gas or electricity meter, ensure there is sufficient credit for testing.
Keep pets and animals away from the working area.
